You can install an individual solar system for flats within a property, subject to obtaining the correct consents for mounting on the roof(s). The metering would be done per unit/flat. There may be the opportunity to add battery storage as well. This addition provides the benefit of storing surplus energy for later use.

Don’t forget, when adding a battery, if you are using an energy supplier with a low-rate tariff, you can top the battery up at the cheaper cost. Use that stored energy when needed, saving you from paying the normal higher-rate energy prices.

BULK solutions 3 phase only

Many situations allow the utilization of an alternative to individual solar systems, and the difference lies in this. With individual solar solutions, each flat has its own inverter managing the allocated power from the roof. Imagine 15 flats needing 15 single-phase inverters and 15 sets of electrical connections.

We can offer a solution that replaces the 15 inverters with fewer, larger inverters. Additionally, a controlling distribution unit will convert the energy from DC to AC and send it to each flat.
