Solar Together

What you need to know

Many people ask what Solar Together is and does it offer a low cost reliable solar installation, the answer is it can do; SolarTogether is a bulk buying scheme offered by a number of organisations and councils and it does work for many people but to the best of our knowledge it usually has limitations, particularly with the equipment offered.

The best comparison we can give is that you are looking for a car but are only allowed to visit one showroom. When spending a large amount of money most people would like to know alternative options available.

Suppliers who have won the tender are likely to have used the cheapest equipment available to win the tender and are often limited to what products they may offer, cheaper smaller output panels sometimes with lower warranties.

We must point out that we are not subscribed to the scheme but colleagues have worked on it elsewhere. We have compared pricing and on occasions we have been able to offer a better deal on either price or equipment and warranties or both.

For that reason we would simply say let us price check your offer its free and easy and worth 2 clicks to forward an email.

Is SolarTogether the best deal?

It will be a low cost offer but that does not mean it is the best deal for you, we can PRICE CHECK if it may be beaten, possibly on price or perhaps you just need a higher output panel or alternative battery than that which is offered.

Please remember the majority of your costs will be from installation, scaffolding and commissioning the system and battery; cheaper equipment may not be suitable for you it is always worth looking at alternative options.

Price check

You have nothing to lose and possibly a lot to gain from a free price check where we can advise if we would change anything to improve the system, simply forward your quote on and we will reply. If it’s a great deal we will tell you.

Remember

A well planned system will save you money, your investment should include long life warranties and excellent power output with payment for excess energy sent to the grid.

An alternative system may reduce your payback period.
